The back story
Five careers. Built and lost businesses. Trashed and regained my health. Married, divorced, been heartbroken and raged at life. Now, in my seventies, I’m happy, healthy, working at my highest level and loving everything life throws at me.
I don’t do therapy-speak, toxic positivity or victimhood. I’ve spent thirty years studying how the mind works, alongside a working life spent running real things with real money on the line. The two were never separate. They’re the whole point.
Qualified in Glasgow, the only woman in the year. Learned early what it costs to be the exception, and what it’s worth.

Retrained into financial services, scared myself shitless with how awful the industry was, so set up and built a wealth management firm to £500m under advice over two decades. spent a couple of years running a global headhunting group through the 2008 crash. Interesting times. i
